QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
This was formally called Kazinga National Park Until the visit of Queen Elizabeth II in 1954. This park is located about 380km from Kampala in the Western region of Uganda. It covers an area of 1978 sq kilometers. It is endowed with lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos among others and various birds species like the king fisher, shoe bills among others making it the most visited national park in Uganda.
Day 1 – Arrival – Entebbe / Kampala
The driver will pick you from the airport, at your time of Arrival and then transfer you to the hotel in Either Entebbe for overnight stay.
Day 2 – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Breakfast. Depart and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This was formally called Kazinga National Park Until the visit of Queen Elizabeth II in 1954. This park is located about 380km from Kampala in the Western region of Uganda. It covers an area of 1978 sq kilometers. It is endowed with lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos among others and various birds’ species like the king fisher, shoe bills among others making it the most visited national park in Uganda. Along the way you will encounter the beautiful green sceneries of Uganda, the Rwenzori ranges and Fort port the tourism city of Uganda where you will have your Lunch (owners’ cost) and then proceed to the park.
On Reaching Queen Elizabeth National Park, you have a stop at the equator monument, that welcome you to the park and the you will engage in a minor game drive as you proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early morning breakfast. After, you shall join the driver with your packed lunch for an early morning game drive, where you will stand a chance of seeing the cats like Lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, birds among others.
Transfer later to Kazinga channel for the boat ride, for about 2 hours and 30mins where you will sight the reptiles like crocodiles, monitor lizards, hippopotamus among others.
In the afternoon, you shall set off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Transfer later to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
This a national park in South western Uganda. It is situated in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest on the edge of the Albertine rift. The park is composed of 124sq miles of both low land and montane forest. The park provides a habitat for 120 species of Mammals, 350 bird species and 310 butterfly species, 27 frog species among many other endangered species. This is the home of half of the world’s mountain Gorillas, columbous monkeys, hornbills and turacos
Day 4 – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kampala
Early breakfast and packed lunch will be served as well. After, you shall be at the trekking headquarters for briefing and cultural dance experiences by the locals. After, shall be transferred to the tracking sector. The Tracking will take about 3-4 hours and during that time you will encounter Gorilla families, vegetation types, land scape sceneries during this time you will be accompanied by the game rangers.
In the afternoon, you will set off to Kampala for overnight stay.
Day 5 – Kampala / Entebbe – Departure
Breakfast at 8:00am, depending on your flight departure time, you will be dropped at the airport ending your memorable safari with us.
