3 NIGHTS / 4 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH AND LAKE MBURO SAFARI, UGANDA
This 4-day Uganda savannah wildlife safari takes you to Lake Mburo highway park and Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second largest national park, with plenty of wildlife, birds, and primates. This park also has spectacular sceneries including crater lakes and rolling savannah plains overlooking the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountain ranges. You will enjoy game drives, and a boat cruise, and the park contains an extensive area of wetland and harbors several species of mammals.
Day 1: Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Queen Elizabeth
You will depart Entebbe in the morning after breakfast and travel westwards through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey will take 6-7 hours with stopovers at areas of tourist attraction such as the Royal Drum makers’ village and the Equator for an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time. You will continue through the savannah grasslands with lots of banana plantations and several herds of local long-horned Ankole cattle endemic to this part of the country. You will get to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast, you will set off for a morning game drive, an awesome experience to spot the animals in natural habitats. Expect to see 4 of the famous Big Five; elephants, buffalos, lions, bushbucks, kobs, giant forest hogs, hyenas leopards, antelopes, and waterbucks as well as birds. You will return for lunch in the afternoon after which you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga Channel to see, at close range, the water animals including hippos, buffalos, crocodiles, and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks, especially the famous shoebill, pelican, and Jacana.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will check for Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes 3-4 hours with stopovers at areas of tourist attraction. You will have lunch at the lodge reserved for you. Afterward, you will go for an afternoon boat trip on the lake rich with a variety of animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and bird species. It will take you hours, after return the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning walking safari and transfer back to Entebbe
Early breakfast and then head out for a guided morning walking safari in the park. Be on the look for giraffes, zebras, impalas and so much more. After, head back to the lodge for lunch, check out and hit the road for a transfer back to Kampala, marking the end of your safari with us.
